Nashville Mayor Megan Barry agreed to resign on Tuesday as part of a plea deal regarding a felony theft charge, about one month after admitting to an extramarital affair with her bodyguard. A truck carrying a wedding party plunged off a bridge in western India early Tuesday and killed at least 30 people, mostly women and children, officials said.
