As victims of the attack were left strewn across the street Alek Minassian, who has now been pictured, was locked in a tense police stand-off, during which video footage showed him telling officers he had a gun and shouting: "Shoot me in the head". In the video Minassian shouts that he has a gun and then says: "Kill me." The officer, hailed a hero for not opening fire, declines and demands Minassian "get down" before he is arrested. Witnesses described a van driver mounting a kerb and swerving to deliberately hit pedestrians, leaving a pushchair "split in half" and hitting people sitting on a bench. The suspect was later named by police as Minassian, a 25-year-old student. Minassian appeared in court on Tuesday morning where a judge detained him on ten counts of murder and thirteen count of attempted murder. Dressed in a white prison jumpsuit with a shaved head and his hands cuffed, he showed little emotion as the charges were read. He did not enter a plea to the charges and was ordered to return to court on May 10. Police have revealed the 25-year-old suspect was not known to intelligence agencies and that the incident was not being treated as a threat to national security.  Alek Minassian (pictured), 25, is accused of carrying out the van attack in Toronto The driver posted a "cryptic" Facebook message minutes before the van attack, police said on Tuesday night.  Facebook has confirmed a message linked to an account matching Minassian was posted publicly before the social network shut down his account. The post referred to the "Supreme Gentleman Elliot Rodger" - the California gunman who killed six people in 2014. Mark Saunders, the Toronto police chief, said the suspect had not been armed and that there was nothing so far to suggest terrorism as a motive. Numerous witnesses, many of whom appeared shaken by the incident, described seeing the van swerving to hit pedestrians. James Forrester saw the aftermath of the incident from the 19th floor of an office building where he works as a financial services representative with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.  “Police were just arriving, people were screaming, there were bodies on the  ground, and I saw a lot of blood,” he told The Telegraph. Mr Miller said the white van "[sped] probably 60-70mph down this major road, swerving to what I would say fairly deliberately hit pedestrians and swerving in and out of traffic before eventually careering off into one of the other side streets and out of view". The stories of bravery, selflessness, and kindness that have emerged have been an inspiration to an entire nation.” 1:38AM Police not ruling anything out Mr Saunders is asked about sources saying police have ruled out a connection to Isil or international terrorism, but he won't be drawn.  "I'm not going to answer what the media are putting forward," he said. "We open lanes and we explore." He reportedly lives in Richmond Hill, north of Toronto. 12:07AM 'This has never happened here' Phil Zullo was headed north driving along Yonge Street, Toronto’s main artery, early Monday afternoon when he saw a bus shelter down, poles bent over, shoes along the road, “and then body after body after body” for a three-block stretch. “People were mangled on the sidewalk. “At first I saw what I thought was a stroller – and said to myself ‘please don’t make me see a kid,’ but I got closer and saw it was a walker," said Mr Zullo, 47, who runs a fitness facility in the city and estimated that he saw between 10 and 15 bodies on the ground. “I called my wife and said, ‘I think I just saw a terrorist attack.’” He said that thousands of people live and work in the area, and that dozens of police officers and emergency responders converged on the scene “from everywhere” providing CPR to the victims. “It was as if they had done this a hundred times. چیف جسٹس پاکستان میاں ثاقب نثار نے ایم ڈی پی ٹی وی تقرری کیس کی سماعت کی۔ عدالت میں ایم ڈی پی ٹی وی کے اخراجات کی چارٹرڈ اکاؤنٹنٹ کی رپورٹ پیش کی گئی۔ آڈٹ حکام نے بتایا کہ پی ٹی وی کے چیئرمین کو تنخواہ نہیں ملتی، سابق چیئرمین عطاء الحق قاسمی کی اہلیت ایک گاڑی کی تھی، لیکن انہیں پروٹوکول کے ساتھ ایک سے زائد گاڑیاں ملیں۔

آڈٹ حکام کے مطابق عطاء الحق قاسمی نے اسلام آباد کلب کی ممبرشپ بھی حاصل کی جس کے اخراجات پندرہ لاکھ روپے تھے، یہ تمام اخراجات پی ٹی وی نے برداشت کیے ہیں، عطاء الحق قاسمی نے 23 لاکھ روپے کے تفریحی اخراجات بھی کیے۔ چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ عطاء الحق قاسمی کی تقرری قانونی تھی یا غیر قانونی یہ تعین عدالت کرے گی، لیکن 15 لاکھ میں اسلام آباد کلب کی ممبر شپ کیسے دی گئی؟ کیا ایسی رکنیت دی جا سکتی ہے، گیسٹ ہاؤس کا بل تک 20 لاکھ روپے کا ہے۔

گزشتہ دنوں یہ نعرے یعنی کہ ’’میرا جسم میری مرضی‘‘ اور مردوں کے برابر حقوق دو، اور خواتین کی آزادی کا واویلا کرنے والی مغرب زدہ خواتین کے ٹولوں کی تصاویر سوشل میڈیا پر واہیات قسم کے نعروں کے ساتھ سامنے آتی رہیں، جن کا مقصد ظاہری طور پر خواتین کے حقوق کی بات کرنا، جبکہ اندرون خانہ ان کا مقصد خواتین کو مغربی معاشروں کی طرح پاکستان جیسے معاشروں میں بھی ایک ٹول کے طور پر استعمال کیا جانا تھا۔

اپنے انہی مذموم مقاصد کا پرچار کرتی یہ چند ایک مغربی ثقافت کی نمائندہ خواتین چاہتی ہیں کہ آنے والی نسلوں میں بگاڑ پیدا کریں تا کہ پاکستان کا معاشرہ ترقی کے راستوں سے ہٹ جائے۔ اب ان خطر ناک عزائم کے سامنے چند ایک درد دل رکھنے والے بھی نکل کر سامنے آ گئے اور انہوں نے مختلف پیشہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد کے ہاتھوں میں پلے کارڈز پکڑا کر ان نام نہاد بی بیوں کو شانہ بہ شانہ کام کرنے کی آفر کی۔ جیسے کہ اپنی جوتی خود سلائی کرو، پانی کی بوتل خود بدلو، اپنے گٹر خود صاف کرو، اپنا پنکچر خود لگاؤ، آؤ بی بی شانہ بہ شانہ وغیرہ…

دراصل دیکھا جائے تو دونوں ہی انداز درست نہیں ہیں، کیونکہ ایک طرف سے پہلے شدید قسم کی شدت دکھائی گئی اور یقیناً یہ انجان اور نادان خواتین کا گروہ ہے کہ جو دانستہ یا پھر نادانستہ طور پر مغرب کی گلی سڑی ثقافت کا پرچار کرنے میں مصروف عمل ہے۔ جبکہ ان چند ایک کو جواب دینے کے لیے جو طریقہ کار اختیار کیا گیا ہے، ہو سکتا ہے کسی حد تک متاثر کن ہو، لیکن اجتماعی طور پر بھی اثر انداز ہو سکتا ہے اور معاشرے میں موجود مرد و زن میں ایک لکیر کھینچ سکتا ہے جو کہ دین اسلام کسی صورت اجازت نہیں دیتا ہے۔

دراصل پہلا گروہ تو مغربی ثقافت کے پرچار میں اندھا ہوا ہے، اگر یہ گمراہ گروہ تھوڑی سی بھی تحقیق کر لیتا تو اسے علم ہوتا کہ پاکستان کے معاشرے میں خواتین کا جس قدر احترام ہے شاید کسی اور معاشرے میں ایسا نہیں ملے گا۔

خواتین کی آزادی کا نعرہ کیا ہے؟ یہ ایک ایسا دلفریب نعرہ ہے جو خواتین کی عفت و پاکیزگی کو نیست ونابود کر چھوڑتا ہے۔ اور اس نعرے کی ایجاد مغربی معاشروں نے کی ہے جہاں عورت کو پاؤں کی جوتی سے بھی کم کا درجہ حاصل ہے، اور نیم برہنہ عورت کو پیش کرکے سمجھا جاتا ہے کہ یہ عورت کی عزت کی جارہی ہے۔

اس کے برعکس حقیقت میں اس معاشرے کی سمجھدار خواتین بھی اس کو اپنی توہین ہی سمجھتی ہیں۔ خواتین کی آزادی کے نام پر خواتین کا استعمال اور استحصال اخلاقی و مذہبی عنوان سے مغربی معاشرے میں بھی بدترین سمجھا جاتا ہے, لیکن کیا کیجیے کہ یہ وبا اب پاکستا ن میں پھیلا کر پاکستان کے معاشرے کو کھوکھلا کرنے کی گھناؤنی سازش کی جا رہی ہے۔ اور اس سازش کو عملی جامہ پہنانے کےلیے بھی خواتین کا استعمال ٹھیک اسی طرح کیا جا رہاہے جس طرح مغربی معاشروں میں کیا جاتا ہے؛ اور اس طرح کے افعالِ بد پر تنقید کرنے والوں کو اب دقیانوسی اور نہ جانے کیا کیا القاب دیے جائیں گے۔

اس پورے عنوان پر مجھے ایک واقعہ یاد آرہا ہے جسے میں قارئین کی خدمت میں پیش کرنا چاہتا ہوں، تا کہ مغرب زدہ اپنی مرضی کرنے والی ان چند ایک خواتین کو احساس ہوسکے کہ وہ کس غلطی کا ارتکاب کر رہی ہیں جو آئندہ آنے والی نسلوں کو بھی تباہ کر دے گی۔

بابا جی کھیت میں بھینس کو جوت کر ہل چلا رہا تھا اور چھپر میں بیل صاحب آرام فرما رہے تھے۔ کسی سیانے کا گزر ہوا۔ اس نے بابا جی سے پوچھا :” یہ کیا تماشا ہے؟ تم نے بیل کو چھپر کے نیچے باندھا ہے اور بھینس کو ہل میں جوت رکھا ہے؟”

بابا جی نے کہا : “یہ بی بی شہر سے آئی ہے۔ اس کی سہیلیوں نے اسے سمجھا کر بھیجا تھا کہ دیہات میں مادہ جنس کو حقوق پورے نہیں ملتے، لہذا تم پہلے ہی دن اپنے مالک سے اپنے حقوق کی بات کرنا۔ اس نے مجھ سے مطالبہ کیا کہ مجھے بیل کے برابر حقوق چاہیں ‘‘۔ میں نے کہا :” بیل تو ہل جوتتا ہے ‘‘۔ اس نے کہا : “میں گھر میں قید ہو کر نہیں رہ سکتی۔ جو کام بیل کرتا ہے وہ میں بھی کر سکتی ہوں۔ چنانچہ میں نے اسے ہل جوتنے پر لگا دیا۔ اب یہ خوشی خوشی کھیت میں بھی کام کرتی ہے اور دودھ بھی دیتی ہے۔ بیل کے پاس کرنے کو کام نہیں، لہذا وہ سارا دن چھپر میں آرام کرتا ہے اور بھینس کو مزید اپنے حقوق مانگنے پر اکساتا رہتا ہے۔‘‘

بہر حال، یہ کہانی بیان کرنے کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ پاکستان کے خوبصورت ترین معاشرے کے اقداروں کو جانے بغیر سڑکوں پر نکل آنے والی یہ نام نہاد آزاد خیال کہلانے والی خواتین یہ بھی جان سکیں کہ ہمارے معاشرے میں خواتین آج بھی مردوں کے شانہ بہ شانہ کام کر رہی ہیں۔ اور یہ ہمارا ہی معاشرہ ہے کہ جہاں خواتین کے احترام میں لوگ خواتین کو کسی قطار میں نہیں لگنے دیتے بلکہ خود اپنی جگہ چھوڑ دیتے ہیں۔ آج بھی ہمارے اسپتالوں، کالجز، یونیورسٹیز، اسکولوں، درسگاہوں، دفاتر، عدالتوں اور سیکورٹی فورسز سمیت تمام شعبہ ہائے زندگی کے ہر معاملہ میں خواتین آگے آگے نظر آتی ہیں اور مردوں کے شانہ بہ شانہ کام کر رہی ہیں۔ لیکن مغرب زدہ یہ خواتین میری مرضی کے نعرے لگانے والی شانہ بہ شانہ کام کرنے کا مقصد کچھ اور ہی نکال کر پیش کرنا چاہتی ہیں جسے پاکستان کی خواتین نے مسترد کر دیا ہے؛ اور مستقبل میں بھی اس طرح کے فرسودہ نظریات کو کبھی پنپنے کا موقع نہیں ملے گا۔

خلاصہ یہ کہ اسلام ایک مکمل ضابطہ حیات ہے کہ جس نے نہ صرف خواتین بلکہ مردوں، اور زندگی کے ہر شعبہ سے تعلق رکھنے والوں کے حقوق کو بیان کیا ہے۔ بس ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ معاشرے کا ہر فرد اپنے حقوق کے حصول کے ساتھ ساتھ اپنے اوپر عائد کئے گئے فرائض کو بھی ادا کرے تو پھر ایسی نوبت ہی نہیْْْں آئے گی۔ اور یہ بات حقیقت ہے کہ کوئی بھی ذی شعور اور حیا یافتہ معاشرہ اور اس کی خواتین ایسے فرسودہ نعروں کو کیسے پنپنے دے سکتی ہیں ؟

یقیناً یہ مغرب کے پے رول پر کام کرتی ایسی خواتین ہیں کہ جن کا مقصد صرف اور صرف اپنے بینک اکاؤنٹس بھرنا ہے، اور پھر یہاں سے مغربی دنیا میں کوچ کر جانا ہے۔ لہٰذا ایک قوم اور ملت ہونے کے ناطے ہم سب کا فرض ہے کہ بے حیائی کو پروان چڑھانے والے ایسے تمام عناصر چاہے وہ مردوں میں ہوں یا خواتین میں، ان کا سدِ باب کرنا ہو گا اور ان کا مقابلہ کرنا ہو گا۔ ورنہ ہماری آئندہ نسلیں ان کے فرسودہ نظام کی فرسودہ روایات اور نعروں میں گم ہو جائیں گی اور پھر تاریخ میں کہیں نشان بھی باقی نہ ہو گا۔

 اسلام آباد: ہائیکورٹ نے فیڈرل پبلک سروس کمیشن کے امتحانات پر عارضی پابندی عائد کردی۔

اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ میں جسٹس شوکت عزیز صدیقی نے ایف پی ایس سی میں اسلام آباد کا کوٹہ مقرر کرنے سے متعلق کیس کی سماعت کی۔ سیکرٹری اسٹیبلشمنٹ ڈویژن معروف افضل اور دیگر افسران عدالت میں پیش ہوئے۔ ڈپٹی اٹارنی جنرل ارشد محمود کیانی نے وفاق کی نمائندگی کی۔

ہائیکورٹ نے ملک بھر میں فیڈرل پبلک سروس کمیشن کے امتحانات کا عمل روکنے کا حکم دے دیا۔ عدالت نے قرار دیا کہ جب تک ایف پی ایس سی میں اسلام آباد کا کوٹہ مقرر نہیں ہوتا، حکم برقرار رہے گا۔ سیکرٹری اسٹبلشمنٹ ڈویژن معروف افضل نے درخواست کی کہ اس پراسس کو نہ روکیں ورنہ ملک بھر کے طلبا متاثر ہوں گے، کوٹہ مقرر کرنے سے اسلام آباد کے لوگوں کا نقصان ہوگا۔

جسٹس شوکت عزیزصدیقی نے کہا کہ کوئی نقصان نہیں ہوگا اسلام آباد کے شہری اوپن میرٹ پر بھی آسکتے ہیں، 56 سال سے اسلام آباد کے ڈومیسائل ہولڈرز کے ساتھ ظلم ہورہا ہے۔ جسٹس شوکت عزیز صدیقی نے استفسار کیا کہ وفاقی سیکرٹریز میں ارشد مرزا اور فواد بٹ کشمیر کے کوٹہ پر آئے، کیا اسلام آباد کا کوئی ہے؟۔

معروف افضل نے کہا کہ جی ابھی تک اسلام آباد سے کوئی نہیں آیا، کابینہ 2013 سے اس معاملے کو دیکھ رہی ہے پراسس جلد مکمل ہوجائے گا، جسٹس شوکت عزیز صدیقی نے کہا کہ پانچ سال میں آپ نے کچھ نہیں کیا، لیکن اب پراسس کو معطل کرتے ہیں پھر دیکھیں گے۔

کیمبرج: ماہرینِ فلکیات نے کہا ہے کہ اگریورینس کو نظامِ شمسی کا سب سے بدبودار سیارہ کہا جائے تو یہ غلط نہ ہوگا، کئی عشروں کی تحقیق کے بعد ماہرین نے پہلی بار کہا ہے کہ اس کے بادلوں میں ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ موجود ہے جو بہت تیز بو کی وجہ بنتی ہے۔  

اس سے قبل ان بادلوں کی کیمیائی ترکیب جاننے کا کوئی بہتر طریقہ سامنے نہیں آیا تاہم اتنا معلوم تھا کہ میتھین گیس کی موجودگی سے یہ سیارہ نیلگوں مائل دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ اس کے بعد ناسا کا وائیجر دوم خلائی جہاز جب یورینس کے قریب سے گزرا تو اس نے وہاں ہائیڈروجن اور ہیلیئم کی موجودگی کا انکشاف بھی کیا۔

اس کے بعد یہ خلائی جہاز یورینس سے دور ہوتا گیا اور اس سیارے پر خاص تحقیق نہ ہوسکی۔ اب معلوم ہوا ہے کہ یورینس پر پانی، امونیا اور ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ بھی پائی جاتی ہے۔ طاقتور جیمنائی دوربین سے جامعہ آکسفورڈ کے ماہرین نے ایک خاص قسم کی طیف نگاری (اسپیکٹرو اسکوپی) کے ذریعے جب یورینس کے بادلوں کو دیکھا تو اس میں گیس کی ایک باریک پرت دکھائی دی جو ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ پر مشتمل ہے۔

اس طرح یورینس پر امونیا اور ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ دونوں ہی موجود ہیں اور یہ دونوں تیز بدبودار گیسز ہیں۔ فلکیات دانوں کے خیال میں ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ کی دریافت سے اس سیارے کے بہت سے رازوں سے پردہ اٹھانا ممکن ہوگا۔ یورینس کا اوسط درجہ حرارت منفی 200 درجے سینٹی گریڈ ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ ہائیڈروجن سلفائیڈ وہ گیس ہے جو تیل کے کنووں سے بھی خارج ہوتی ہے جبکہ اس کی بدبو سڑے ہوئے انڈے جیسی تیز اور شدید ناگوار ہوتی ہے۔

سلامتی کونسل میں نوجوان، امن و سلامتی کے موضوع پر مباحثہ میں اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر ملیحہ لودھی نے کہا کہ دیرینہ تنازعات اور غیر ملکی قبضوں کی وجہ سے نوجوانوں کو خطرات ہیں، نوجوانوں کو مسلح تصادم میں شمولیت سے بچانے کیلئے دیرینہ تنازعات کا حل ناگزیر ہے، نوجوانوں کو جنگ کا ایندھن بنانے کی بجائے قیام امن میں شراکت دار بنایا جائے۔

ملیحہ لودھی نے کہا کہ دنیا کی آبادی کا 46 فیصد 25سال سے کم عمر کے نوجوانوں پر مشتمل ہے، نوجوان معاشی اور سماجی ترقی، مؤثر اداروں کے قیام کے معمار ہیں، پاکستان نے انتہا پسندی کے تدارک کیلئے جامع حکمت عملی اختیار کی ہے اور نوجوان نسل کو معاشرے کا پیداواری رکن بنارہا ہے۔

ملیحہ لودھی نے کہا کہ کوئی ماں کے پیٹ سے دہشت گرد بن کر پیدا نہیں ہوتا لیکن ناختم ہونے والی مایوسی کی طویل رات خطرناک ثابت ہوتی ہے۔ اگر نوجوانوں کے پاس جینے کا کوئی مقصد ہی نہ ہو تو وہ مرنے کے لیے کوئی مقصد تلاش کرلیتے ہیں، ہمیں نوجوان نسل کے غلط امیج کو ذمہ داری کے ساتھ ختم کرنا ہوگا۔

جکارتہ: انڈونیشیا کے قدیم قبائلی ہزاروں برس سے سمندر کے کنارے رہتے ہیں، ان کی اکثریت کشتیوں میں رہتی ہے اور وہ کسی بیرونی آلے کے بغیر 13 منٹ تک پانی کے اندر رہتے ہوئے مچھلیوں کا شکار کرتے ہیں۔

یہ افراد باجاؤ قبائل سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں اور ایک عرصے سے ماہرین ان پر تحقیق کررہے ہیں۔ سائنس ایک عرصے تک ان کی اس حیرت انگیز صلاحیت کی وجہ جاننے سے قاصر رہی ہے کہ آخر وہ پانی کی گہرائی میں سانس لیے بغیر کیسے رہتے ہیں۔

انڈونیشیا میں باجاؤ افراد کو سمندری خانہ بدوش بھی کہا جاتا ہے کیونکہ یہ زیادہ تر وقت کشتیوں اور پانیوں میں ہی گزارتے ہیں۔ کیمبرج یونیورسٹی کے ماہرین نے تحقیق کرکے بتایا ہے کہ ان کے جسم کا اہم عضو یعنی پِتّہ (اسپلین) بقیہ افراد کے مقابلے میں 50 فیصد بڑا ہوتا ہے جو انہیں پانی میں غیرمعمولی وقت تک رہنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ پِتّے کی جسامت انسانوں کی پانی میں رہنے کی صلاحیت یا ڈائیو ریفلیکس میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔

انسانوں کا اہم عضو پِتّہ دل اور دماغ کو آکسیجن کی تقسیم میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ جیسے ہی دل کی دھڑکن سست ہوتی ہے، اہم اعضا کو خون زائد مقدار میں پہنچنا شروع ہوجاتا ہے۔ اس موقع پر پِتّہ سکڑتا اور پھیلتا ہے اور خون کے سرخ خلیات کو زیادہ بہتر انداز میں جسم میں گردش کرنے میں مدد دیتا ہے۔ عام افراد میں ضرورت کے وقت پِتّہ آکسیجن کی 9 فیصد مقدار بڑھاتا ہے لیکن انڈونیشیائی قبائلیوں میں اس کی شرح بہت زیادہ ہوتی ہے۔

پِتّے اور آکسیجن پر تحقیق کرنے والی ماہر میلیسا لارڈو کہتی ہیں کہ سمندر میں طویل وقت گزارنے والی سیلز میں سے بعض کے پتے غیرمعمولی طور بڑے ہوتے ہیں، اگر اس طرح سمندری جانور زیادہ وقت پانی میں گزا رسکتے ہیں تو خود انسان بھی اس کی بدولت آکسیجن کے بغیر زیادہ دیرتک پانی میں رہ سکتے ہیں۔

کیمبرج کے سائنس دانوں نے کئی ماہ باجاؤ افراد کے ساتھ گزارے ہیں جن میں بڑوں اور بچوں کے الٹرا ساؤنڈ، خون کے نمونے اور جینیاتی سیمپل لے کر ان کا موازنہ دیگر آبادیوں کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ باجاؤ میں ایک ہی تبدیل نوٹ کی گئی جو ان کا غیرمعمولی طور پر بڑھا ہوا پِتّہ تھا۔

پھر ڈی این اے کے تجزیئے سے معلوم ہوا کہ یہاں کے لوگوں میں ایک جین PDE10A بہت سرگرم ہے جو تھائرائیڈ ہارمون زیادہ بنارہا ہے جس کے نتیجے میں پِتّہ بڑا ہورہا ہے۔

اس کے بعد ماہرین نے کئی افراد کے سروے کے بعد کہا کہ باجاؤ کے لوگ اوسطاً روزانہ 60 فیصد وقت پانی میں گزارتے ہیں۔ ایک غوطے میں وہ 230 فٹ یا 70 میٹر گہرائی تک پہنچتے ہیں اور وہاں 12 سے 13 منٹ تک آکسیجن کے بغیر رہتے ہیں۔

آئی سی سی میٹنگز اتوار سے کولکتہ میں شروع ہوگئی ہیں، ان میں شرکت کیلیے پی سی بی کے چیئرمین نجم سیٹھی بھی پہنچے ہوئے ہیں، وہاں پر دونوں ممالک میں باہمی سیریز کے حوالے سے کنٹریکٹ کا معاملہ بھی چھایا ہوا ہے۔

بی سی سی آئی کے سیکریٹری امیتابھ چوہدری نے ایک بار پھر اسے معاہدہ ماننے سے ہی انکار کردیا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ یہ تو صرف اظہار دلچسپی کا خط تھا، میں اسے کنٹریکٹ قرار دینے کے اصرار پر پی سی بی کوقصور وار قرار نہیں دوں گا مگر حقیقت یہی ہے کہ یہ معاہدہ نہیں ہے، ان پر دراصل اپنے ملک میں دباؤ ہے اور میں یہ بات اچھی طرح سمجھتا ہوں۔

امیتابھ چوہدری نے یہ دعویٰ بھی کیا کہ بی سی سی آئی اور پی سی بی میں واضح طور پر یہ بات طے ہوئی تھی کہ اگر آئی سی سی کے نئے مالیاتی ماڈل کا فیصلہ نہیں ہوا تو پھر یہ خط بے اثر ہوجائے گا۔

دوسری جانب نجم سیٹھی نے کہاکہ بی سی سی آئی کہتا ہے کہ انھیں حکومت اجازت نہیں دیتی، ہمارا موقف ہے کہ آپ حکومت سے اجازت مانگتے کیوں ہیں،آئی سی سی نے یہ واضح کیا ہوا ہے کہ کرکٹ معاملات میں کسی قسم کی مداخلت نہیں ہونا چاہیے،اگر یہ معاملہ تھا بھی تو پھر آپ کو کنٹریکٹ میں یہ بات شامل کرنا چاہیے تھی مگر آپ نے ایسا نہیں کیا تو پھر کیا مسئلہ ہے۔

نجم سیٹھی نے کہا کہ دونوں ٹیموں کو جنوبی ایشیائی شائقین کی خاطر ایک دوسرے سے کھیلنا چاہیے،گیند اس وقت بی سی سی آئی کے کورٹ میں ہے، ہمیں امید ہے کہ جلد ہی منطقی سوچ غالب آئے گی اور دونوں ٹیمیں پھر سے اچھی کرکٹ کھیلنے لگیں گی، میرا ذہن یہ کہتا ہے کہ جلد یا بدیر ہمیں اس معاملے کا بہتر حل نکالنا ہوگا۔

یاد رہے کہ پاکستان نے باہمی سیریز کے حوالے سے معاہدے پر عملدرآمد نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے بھارت کیخلاف70 ملین ڈالر ہرجانے کا کیس آئی سی سی کی ڈسپیوٹ کمیٹی میں کیا ہوا ہے، جس پر تین رکنی ٹریبونل بھی قائم ہوچکا اور سماعت اکتوبر میں ہوگی۔ نجم سیٹھی نے کہاکہ ٹریبیونل کے احکامات کی وجہ سے مجھے اس معاملے پر بات کرنے کی آزادی نہیں،اس لیے میں کوئی تبصرہ نہیں کرسکتا۔

کیلیفورنیا: سائنس دانوں نے خبردار کیا ہے کہ مانع حمل ادویہ خواتین کے دماغ کو سکیڑ کر اس کی ساخت اور کارکردگی کو متاثر کرسکتی ہیں۔

کیلیفورنیا یونیورسٹی  کے سائنس دانوں نے 90 خواتین کے دماغوں کے اسکین کا بغور مطالعہ کیا اور دیکھا کہ مانع حمل ادویہ استعمال کرنے والی خواتین کے دماغ کے دو اہم حصوں کی جسامت سکڑ گئی تھی۔

یہ دونوں حصے کارٹیکس کے اوپری اور اندرونی حصے ہیں جو جذبات، قوت فیصلہ اور مسرت کے لمحات میں لطف اندوزی کے افعال سرانجام دیتے ہیں۔ ان حصوں کی کمزوری ڈپریشن کا باعث بنتی ہے اور خواتین خوشگوار احساسات سے عاری ہونا شروع ہوجاتی ہیں۔

محققین نے یہ بھی مشاہدہ کیا کہ کھائی جانے والی مانع حمل ادویہ سے کچھ خواتین میں منفی خیالات ابھرنے لگتے ہیں جو ان کے روزمرہ کاموں کی انجام دہی میں رکاوٹ کا باعث بنتی ہیں۔ اسی طرح ملازمت پیشہ خواتین کی کارکردگی بھی متاثر ہوتی ہے۔

اس تحقیق میں خواتین کی کم تعداد کو شامل کیا گیا تھا لیکن ماہرین امراض خواتین کا بھی کہنا ہے کہ کلینیکل پریکٹس کے دوران مانع حمل ادویہ استعمال کرنے والی خواتین کے جذبات میں تیزی سے تبدیلیوں کو محسوس کیا جاسکتا ہے۔

اس سے پہلے 2010 میں آسٹریلیا میں کی جانے والی ایک اور تحقیق سے ثابت ہوا تھا کہ مانع حمل ادویہ استعمال کرنے والی خواتین کے دماغ کی ساخت تبدیل ہوجاتی ہے جس کے باعث ان کی کارکردگی بھی متاثر ہوتی ہے۔

دوسری جانب طبی ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ ان دونوں تحقیقات کے نتائج سے پریشان ہونے کی ضرورت نہیں کیونکہ یہ مختصر ترین تحقیقات ہیں چنانچہ اس حوالے سے ابھی مزید تحقیق کی ضرورت ہے جس کے بعد ہی مانع حمل ادویہ کے مستقبل کا فیصلہ کیا جاسکے گا۔

دبنگ خان کی مشکلات ختم ہونے کا نام ہی نہیں لے رہی ہیں، سلو میاں کبھی کالے ہرن کے کیس میں عدالت کے چکر لگاتے ہیں تو کبھی ہندوؤں کی نچلی ذات کے خلاف متنازع بیان پر مقدمہ درج کردیا جاتا ہے تاہم سلمان پوری کوشش کررہے ہیں کہ کسی طرح ان پر سے مقدمات کو ختم کردیا جائے اور اسی لیے سلمان خان نے اب بھارتی سپریم کورٹ سے رجوع کرلیا ہے۔
